What counts as a "better rate"?
The same hotel and dates, an equivalent or better room, equal or better cancellation terms, and a lower all-in price including taxes, resort fees, and other mandatory charges. A cheaper rate with worse terms is shown honestly as a tradeoff, never as a straightforward saving.
Will Snag.gl ever change my reservation?
Never without your explicit approval. When switching is supported, the original reservation is only cancelled after the replacement is confirmed.
